Former Ghana Football Association chairman Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has questioned Black Stars coach Avram Grant’s visit to Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari over a possible return to the national team.
According to him, Avram Grant must look beyond Muntari, Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng if he wants to succeed as coach of the Black Stars.
“If Avram Grant goes ahead to invite Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng, I will lead a campaign to ensure the he doesn’t succeed in everything he does in this country,” said Dr Nyaho Tamakloe in an interview with Joy Sports
“If they go ahead to apologize then that is fine.
“They have to show respect not only to the team but to Ghanaians.
“For Muntari, this is not the first time, this is not the second time. This is the third time [he is misbehaving].”
Muntari and Boateng have been suspended indefinitely from the Black Stars for engaging in various acts of indiscipline at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
