Sudanese side Al Khartoum SC have unveiled new head coach Kwesi Appiah and his assistant Prince Owusu at a ceremony on Wednesday afternoon.
The official presentation took place at a hotel in the Sudanese capital which had a board member
Appiah was sacked as Ghana coach in September this year after failing to guide the Black Stars go beyond the Group stage at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The 54-year-old has signed a two-year deal and will replace Egyptian coach Hamza Gamil.
Appiah will lead the club in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers after the military-owned team finished fourth in the just ended season.
Al Khartoum have big ambitions of making an impact in Africa.
