Christmas ‘Accra Works Out’: Arts meet Sports

Too much excitement is anticipated at this month’s Accra Works Out, being the last for the year 2014.

Organizers of the event – Primeval Media Ghana limited – have intimated that, several icons from the music and sports industry have confirmed their participation in this month’s edition.

The likes of sports icons, Stephen “Tornado” Appiah, Assistant coach of the Black Stars Maxwell Konadu, Augustine Arhinful, and FA spokesperson Ibrahim Saani Daara who have become regulars at the monthly aerobic session, will be joined by music icons “Mr. Versatile” Okyeame Kwame, “Borkor Borkor” Mzvee and another surprise artiste on the multi-purpose court of the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 20, 2014.

According to the Communications Director of Primeval Media, Jeffery Asare, Accra Works Out, which is usually held on the last Saturday of each month and initially billed for Saturday, December 27, 2014, had to be rescheduled to 20th December to allow the company space to put finishing touches to the Ghana Golf Awards 2014 – another of its products.

Sportscrusader investigations reveal that, some popular icons from the movie industry are very keen to join.

The workout features highly trained and experienced instructors, leading participants from across the corporate world of the country through various aerobic regimes, laced with good quality music, interspersed with health tips from Dr. Pambo of the National Sports Authority and healthy bites, all at NO COST to participants.
