Kumasi Asante Kotoko have crushed out of the MTN Caf Champions league following a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Moroccan Side Ittihad Khemisset in Morrocco.
Match reports indicate the porcupine warriors put up a vintage performance but were let down by alleged dodgy referring decisions from Malian referee Coulibaly Koman.
3-3 it ended on aggregate but the Moroccan side qualify on the away goal rule after losing 1-3 to Kotoko at the Essipong Stadium.
The results put future of care-taker coach Isaac Opeele Boateng in doubts having supervised a patchy performance and some shocking defeats to Eleven Wise and Gamba All Blacks.
