Jeffrey Sclupp was on target in the English Premier League on Saturday for his Leicester City side in their away game against Queens Park Rangers.
The away side however lost the game in which they scored an early goal against Harry Redknapp’s men.
Esteban Cambiasso opened the scoring for Leicester after just four minutes into the game but an own goal from Wes Morgan and a late first half goal from Leroy Fer saw Queens Park Rangers go into the first half break leading by two goals to one.
Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp leveled the scoring for Leicester City but Charlie Austin’s goal made sure home side Queens Park Rangers take all three points in the encounter.
Jeffrey Schlupp started the game and went on to play in the full duration without a booking.
Albert Adomah played the full game for Middlesbrough in the English Championship as his side drew one all at home to Blackburn Rovers.
Patrick Bamford and Rudy Gestede were the goal scorers for Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers respectively.
In the German Bundesliga, Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng was not involved on Saturday when his German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 convincingly beat Mainz 05.
The German club who were thumped by English Premier League side Chelsea in Europe on Tuesday recovered to secure a 4-1 home victory in the league with Klaas Jan Huntelaar scoring a hat-trick.
Huntelaar opened the scoring in the 9 minute and had his brace in the game before the half hour mark. Shinji Okazaki pulled one back for Mainz 05 on the stoke of half time as Schalke went into the interval leading by two goals to one.
Tranquillo Barnetta restored Schalke’s two-goal advantage after the break before Klaas Jan Huntelaar completed his hat-trick giving Schalke 04 a 4-1 home win.
Abdul Baba Raman was not ranked in SIXTH position in the German Bundesliga for nothing. The Ghanaian once again showed why he deserved his spot with another stellar performance against Hamburger SV with his Augsburg side.
Baba Raman sealed his good game by providing an assist for Augsburg’s second goal in the 3-1 home victory for the German side.
Rafael van der Vaart scored the opener for Hamburger SV in on the stroke of half time but a resilient Augsburg came back strong in the second half to claim all three points.
Halil Altintop leveled the game for Augsburg five minutes after the first half break before Baba Raman provided the assist for the goal that put the home side 2-1 up with Raul Marcelo Bobadilla converting.
Paul Verhaegh scored from the penalty spot to give home side Augsburg a 3-1 victory.
Abdul Baba Raman played the full game and received a yellow card booking seconds to the end of regular time.
In the French Ligue 1, Jordan Ayew was on the score sheet for Lorient FC on Saturday as his club came from behind to secure an away victory.
Lorient FC played Toulouse in a game in which they edged their adversaries by a goal after five goals were scored in the full duration of the game.
Tongo Hamed Doumbia scored the first goal of the game for the home side which sent Toulouse 1-0 up into the first half interval.
Raphael Guerreiro and Bejamin Jeannot scored in the space of two minutes after the break as Lorient came from behind to take a 2-1 lead.
Jordan Ayew calmly converted from the penalty spot three minutes after Lorient’s second goal to give his side a two goal advantage.
Aleksandar Pesic pulled one back for Toulouse but Lorient held on to secure a vital 3-2 win away from home.
Ghana international Jordan Ayew played the full game without a booking.
