Afenyi-Dadzie’s group prays for Ghana

Aglow International Ministries, on Saturday organized an intercessory prayer session for the nation in the wake of the recent spate of accidents on the roads, resulting in the loss of many lives. Mrs. Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, National Prayer Director of AGLOW said, the cause of the accidents could be the sin of mankind so Ghanaians should pray to the Almighty God for forgiveness and save the nation from such accidents. She noted that, if politicians or some Ghanaians have gone for any juju and have been asked to bring human blood for sacrifice, they should desist from the act and pray to God for forgiveness so that God will shower His blessings upon the nation and protect the people from the evil ones. Mrs Afenyi-Dadzie, who is also a former president of the Ghana Journalists Association, committed Ghanaians into the hands of God and asked for divine protection against accidents in the country. She said that, the cause of these accidents could also be adultery, fornication, Christian backsliding, witch craft and advised Ghanaians to worship the Lord and have faith in Him. Mrs Dorothy Danso, National President of AGLOW International Ministries expressed worry about the accidents and asked Ghanaians to pray for those who were involved for God’s healing and receive the dead ones in His bosom. She urged all drivers to stop indiscipline on roads such as overtaking, speeding and asked them to drive carefully to avoid accidents. Mrs Danso committed police personnel to the hands of God and advised them to check on the drivers to prevent accidents. Source: GNA
