The 2004 Presidential Candidate of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), George Opesika Aguddey, has hinted that he will be contesting the flagbearership of the party in 2012.
He said history suggests a lot of those who have won the presidential race contested for the third time before winning the seat.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa News, Mr. Aguddey argued that ex-President Kufuor and President Mills contested the elections on three consecutive times before winning the Presidency.
Mr. Aguddey is optimistic that his coming back in 2012 will help win the presidency.
He added that he only led the party in 2004 and so he has two more chances to lead the party to victory.
