Liverpool star Spanish striker, Fernando Torres, was crocked when the Reds faced his former club Atletico Madrid in the Champions League group stages.
He's still sore about having to miss the double-header, which would have been emotional for him. However, he insists there will be no sentiment attached to the knock-out tie against Real Madrid.
‘El Nino’ has asserted that he's back to form and fitness at just the right time to gun down los Blancos.
"I have no feelings for Real Madrid," Torres is quoted as saying in the Liverpool Daily Post. "I played for Atletico and was disappointed to miss those games through injury. I was looking forward to the reception.
"Still, beating Madrid will make lots of Atletico fans happy. If I score against Real Madrid, I will celebrate for sure.
"It would be great for me to get my first goals in Europe this season against Madrid. I feel that my confidence is coming back at the right time and I am sure the goals will follow."
Torres scored six goals in last season's competition and will be keen to avoid finishing the campaign by drawing a blank.
