The Tel Aviv derby in Israel between Hapoel and Maccabi is abandoned at half-time after a fan attacked a player who was then sent off for retaliating.
With the score at 1-1, a Hapoel fan attacked Maccabi striker Eran Zahavi in the 33rd minute. The player was sent off for retaliating, sparking a melee which forced the officials to abandon the game.
Hapoel manager Eyal Berkovic, who played in the Premier League with Manchester City, Southampton and West Ham, said: "This was not a game of football, it was war. I'm stunned and ashamed to be involved in football on a day like today."
