Baby Jet Promotions have denied reports their imminent boxing bout for Emmanuel Tagoe will be in partnership with another promoter.
The boxing promotions owned by Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan have earmarked ending of November or early December to stage an international bout for their lead boxer in Accra.
Emmanuel Tagoe aka Game Boy is scheduled to fight Tanzanian Sidiki Mombo as the main bout of the fight scheduled to take place at the RLG Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium at a yet to be determined date.
Reports flying over however suggests Baby Jet Promotions are in talks with McDon to co-promote the fight.
Chief Executive Officer of Baby Jet Promotions, Samuel Anim Addo has however denied these reports.
“We are yet to receive a formal offer from anyone to co-promote our fight,” he said.
“We at Baby Jet Promotions per our track record have the competence to stage our own fight and therefore I do not envisage any partnership here.
“These reports are therefore not true. We are still in preparation and will make the official announcement once everything is confirmed for the fight.”
Samuel Anim Addo also responded to rumours a press conference is being held by hs outfit to lay down plans for the bout.
“There is no press conference being organized by Baby Jet Promotions,” he added.
“We are still in preparations and once everything is firmed up, we will make the announcement.”
