Asante Kotoko claim they have received a 750,000 euros from French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain for enterprising right-back Samuel Inkoom.
The 19-year-old put up a splendid performance for the Black Satellites in winning the African Youth Championship in Rwanda early this month.
Inkoom's lethal raids on the right-flank also attracted interest from Swiss League side FC Basel.
But his move to Switzerland was botched due to the complications in the release of his passport.
"It was no fault of management that Inkoom couldn't go to Switzerland. We authorized the agents to contact the GFA for his passport. The FA failed to release the passport because of the CHAN," Director of Communications Kwame Baah-Nuakoh told the Asante Kotoko Express.
"We think this offer is better. He will go in the summer transfer and we think the French League will be good for him because they are good and well noted for career developments."
PSG are currently second on the Ligue 1 table and with Inkoom's move to the Parc des Princes, he could play in next year's Uefa Champions League.
