Defender Habib Mohammed has been called to the Black Stars for the time in three years as he is a late addition to coach Milovan Rajevac's squad for Wendesday's friendly against Egypt.
Also handed a late call-up is Russia-based winger Haminu Dramani who was not included in the initial squad named by the Serbian manager.
With striker Matthew Amoah also out through injury together with Satellite trio of Dede Ayew, Agyemang Badu and Samuel Inkoom, Rajevac has been forced to re-adjust his squad.
Mohammed, who plays for Wa All Stars, returns to the Black Stars for the first since playing for the country at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
It is a major boost for the left wing-back who failed in his bid to play in Europe but has revived his career by playing for the local club.
There could be yet more additions to the squad for the Cairo game as Ghanasoccernet understands from sources within the Ghana Football Association.
