Emmanuel Asamoah Owusu-Ansah, Ashanti Regional Minister has called on constituency executive members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to unite.
He said this was very crucial and the only way they could lead the party at that level to chalk more successes and to bring development to the doorsteps of the people.
Mr Owusu-Ansah, who is also the MP for Kwabre West, was speaking when the old and new executive members of the constituency called on him in Kumasi on Wednesday.
He told them to unite and work to improve the living conditions of the people in the constituency.
The Regional Minister urged them to forget the past, saying, "Let bygones be bygones and work in a transparent manner devoid of apathy, backbiting, discrimination and groupings and if we are able to do this, it will bring more projects to the area".
He stated that he was leaving no stone unturned in his efforts to improve the road network in the constituency, adding that, the Kodie-Mowire, Kodie-Apagya and Fawoade-Wawase-Aboabogya roads would soon be awarded on contract for tarring while the Afrancho-Ntiribuoho-Nkrumamu road was receiving attention.
Mr Owusu-Ansah said he had distributed electrical poles to some communities and was supporting the construction of school blocks and a dormitory block for the Aduman Secondary School.
Nana Appiah-Kubi, Chairman of the executive committee, commended the Regional Minister for his efforts to raise the image of the constituency and stressed the commitment of the members to support him and the party for the accelerated development of the country.
