The National Executive Committee of the TUC Veterans’ Association (Ghana) has sent a congratulatory message to President John Evans Atta Mills on his election as President of the Republic of Ghana.
In a statement signed by its national secretary, John Alex Hamah, the association said: “We, as veterans of Organised Labour, assure Your Excellency of our support in our mutual aspiration to achieve industrial peace and harmony, prerequisites to rapid economic development.”
“It is also the fervent hope of the TUCVAG that under your able and patriotic leadership, Ghana shall continue to enjoy national unity, peace and prosperity in a liberal democracy.”
“May Almightly God bestow on Your Excellency abundant good health and added wisdom to pilot safely the ship of state,” the statement said.
