The Ministry of the Interior has noted with concern, reports from some sections of the media as well as rumours and claims making the rounds about attacks by opponents of political parties on each other in the aftermath of the recent elections.

“The Ministry wishes to caution all those involved in acts inimical to the development of our beloved Ghana to desist from doing so.”
The statement issued by Alhaji Muhammad Mumuni, the President’s Representative for the Ministry of the Interior, also advised persons or media houses that are peddling rumours and unsubstantiated claims to desist from such acts and others that may cause panic in the society.
