Former Hearts of Oak and Black Stars goal keeper Sammy Adjei says he is weighing offers from Manchester United and Real Madrid before he could decide his future with Hearts.
Sammy Adjei fell out with his Isreali side and was expected to revive his career with “darling side” Accra Hearts of Oak, but says he is waiting for the final word from his manager before making his final move.
He told Joy correspondent Tony Bebli, his focus has been to move into Europe and would only consider signing for Hearts if the offers fail to materialise.
“Accra Hearts of Oak is my team, so if I don’t have a team I can play for Hearts.”
He dismissed media speculation that he had collected a signing fee worth GH¢15,000 from Hearts, saying the amount paid him was to offset the 2005 contract he signed with the club.
He explained his relationship with the club has been smooth so far.
Sammy Adjei was full of commendation for the Hearts’ substantive goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy and hoped his possible return to the side could boost the premiership campaign.
