Tuesday's Nkoranza North by-election left the floor of Parliament only a handful of members to attend to the business of the House.
Many members from both sides of the House were reportedly serving as polling agents for their various parties in the constituency.
Business in the House was brisk and proceedings were adjourned shortly after two ministers came to answer questions from members.
Minister of Health Courage Quashigah was present to respond to questions on the status of various health centres throughout the country.
Public Sector Reform Minister Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom also informed the House that government was considering plans to implement a process to monetize fringe benefits and other allowances so that public servants could buy their own fuel.
The move, according to Dr Nduom, was to control public expenditure on utilities.
Dr Nduom was responding to a question by a member on what measures government was taking to cut back on fuelling vehicles of public servants in view of the increase in fuel prices.
