Ghanaian midfielder Awuley Quaye Jnr has made a return to the Egyptian top-flight league by agreeing a three-year deal with El-Itthad El-Iskandary.
The Alexandria-based side wants to rely on his rich experience playing on the continent with CS Sfaxien(2002-2004) and Zamalek.
Ittihad are currently placed-eighth on the league table at halfway point. The 28-year-old played for Zamalek for two years before leaving at the end of the 2007 season for the Gulf.
He played in the Zamalek side that featured in the 2005 Caf Champions League. Junior, son of ex-international Awuley Quaye, was a member of Ghana's silver medal winning team at the 1997 Fifa Under-17 World Cup in Egypt.
He was also part of the squad that lifted the 1999 edition of the Africa Youth Championship on home soil.
