The Ghanaian winger has escaped punishment after a nasty challenge on Dario Cvitanich during a Ligue 1 game against Nice.
Ghanaian winger Andre Ayew heaved a huge sigh of relief after he was able to defend his case over the weekend at the Ligue 1 Disciplinary Committee and went away freely with no ban or a fine.
The Marseille talisman allegedly kicked the private part of Dario Cvitanich in matchday-4 against OGC Nice with the referee failing to spot the incident.
Nice reported the case to the French FA who first sat on the case when Ayew was on national duty with the Black Stars and scheduled a date for a hearing.
The French football regulatory body has pardoned the Ghanaian since his action was without malice. However, Ayew has been cautioned.
