Tension mounts in Ododiodio constituency in the Greater Accra Region over allegations that ballot boxes fully thumb printed have been hoarded in the home of an NPP official.
Supporters of the NDC who made the allegation besieged the home of the official which is around the Children’s hospital and threatened to break into the house to retrieve the ballot boxes.
Joy correspondent, Israel Laryea says, the police arrived to restore peace and order.
According to him, the men behind the allegations together with some journalists and security personnel were allowed entry to thoroughly search the house, but did not see anything.
The NDC supporters say it was wrong information given them, but to be on the safer side, they will remain right in front of the house to prevent anything untoward from happening.
