Mr. Philp Fiifi Buckman, an independent parliamentary candidate for the Effia-Kwesiminstim constituency has urged Ghanaian youth to demonstrate high sense of maturity and ensure peaceful elections on December 7.
He said no nation could progress without the active participation of the youth in national development, and expressed worry that negative acts in the society were associated with the youth.
Mr. Buckman in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), on Friday at Anaji, said the youth were the future leaders of the country and they should be assisted to develop their potentials for national development.
He said “Choose youthful leaders who are competent, well educated and outspoken to represent your interests in Parliament”.
Mr. Buckman appealed to the youth to vote for him as Member of Parliament to enable him to contribute to the development of the constituency.
He said the development of the constituency could be better attained if both the youth and adults were involved in the decision making processes.
