The Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Coach Oti Akenten says he is not aware that Coach Milovan Rajevac is going to be the technical advisor for the senior national team Black Stars.
Speaking to Enoch Worlanyo Wallace on Sports Nite, the former Hearts of Oak trainer who is also a member of the committee set by the GFA to select a technical adviser for the Black Stars revealed that, there is no truth in the speculation in town about the technical adviser position given to the former coach of the Black Stars Milovan Rajevac.
The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) set up a three-man committee to appoint a technical adviser for the Black Stars head coach.
The three-man committee headed by the GFA vice-president Fred Crentsil, the former Black Star management committee chairman Fred Pappoe and the technical director of the GFA Samuel Francis Oti Akenteng has worked in about a couple of months ago but it seems the committee have not submitted any report to the FA.
Mr. Oti Akenten says though Coach Milovan is in town for negotiations but he personally has not seen him and aside not been chosen as the technical advisor of the Black Stars so all rumors in town about the trainer`s appointment as the technical adviser isn’t true.
The technical advisor of GFA further revealed that, the three member committee has still submitted their report about who is to take the technical adviser position but he has heard that two people who are likely to appear in the squad, Milovan Rajevac and Danish top-notch Flemming Serritslev are in town but he has never seen any of them.
He has then appealed to the various media personnel to be circumspect with the kind of stories they write to the public especially misquoting and their choice of words because after their submission of the report, the GFA`s spokesperson, Ibrahim Sannie Dara would communicate to everyone.
