Black Stars midfielder Daniel Yeboah says his taste for continental football attracted him to sign for local side Heart of Lions for the the new season.
The 24-year-old midfielder agreed a two-year deal with the Kpando-based side after pulling out of deal with another Premier League side Tema Youth.
Yeboah returned a US$ 1,500 transfer fee part payment to Tema Youth and made a u-turn to sign for Lions.
"As a player one needs to take challenges. I had a lot of offers but I chose Lions because they will play in Africa I think it's one of the good teams in Ghana as at now," Yeboah told Ghanasoccernet.com
" Playing in Africa, the challenges there will help me soar and maintain my newly found form," he added.
" I had an understanding with Lions and I think the provided me the best deal. It's unfortunate but I don't want to talk about the past."
