Kotoko have opened talks with head coach of Nigerian side Enyimba FC, Maurice Cooreman, in a bid to bolster their back-room staff for next season's campaign.
The 65-year-old Belgian has been in-charge of the Nigerian side since 2006 after winning the League title with Ocean Boys.
The management of Kotoko have played diplomacy with the sacking head coach Bashiru Hayford who has had occasional troubles with them.
Ghanasoccernet enquiries reveal that the Porcupine Warriors will have to cough-up US$ 250,000 dollars to meet his buy-out-clause and a whooping monthly salary.
Cooreman has held talks with the club and remains favourite to lead the reigning Ghanaian Champions.
He has also managed NPA, Bendel Insurance, Lobi Stars and Gabros International in the Nigerian Premier League.
