The police at Adentan have arrested five men at Pantang in the Ga East Municipality in Accra, suspected to be dealing in fake currencies.
The suspects, who are yet to be identified were picked together with their landlord in a police swoop early Friday.
The police conducted a search in their apartment and discovered volumes of neatly packaged paper cuts said to be used to print fake foreign currencies.
The paper cuts were stocked in popular carrier bags commonly called “Ghana must go”.
A source told Myjoyonline.com that the suspects have been sent to the station for further investigations.
They are believed to be Nigerians.
