Renowned football administrator and respected Islamic opinion leader, Alhaji Karim Gruzah has vowed to deliver the Asawase parliamentary seat to the New Patriotic Party.
Dr. Muhammed Abdul Kabir, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate has the NDC’s Member of Parliament, Hon Mutanka Mubarak to contend with, but Gruzah says that should not be a problem.
Kabir is Alhaji Gruzah’s nephew, and according to the latter, with the huge support and the influential position that he commands in the Asawase community and Ashanti Region in general, he would ensure a landslide victory for the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo in that his constituency and the Ashanti Region.
The highly respected Muslim leader stated categorically that the incumbent MP had totally failed the constituents who voted him into power hence the time has come for him to be replaced by a proven leader and a trusted son of Asawase.
The people of Asawase especially the youth, according to Alhaji Gruzah are yearning for change of the current Member of Parliament for the area since he has not been able to deliver.
