Barely a week after his resignation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Said Sinare has returned to the party.
The National Vice Chairman resigned from the biggest opposition party for personal reasons.
However, he said those who wished to know why he had resigned should ask Mr. Ato Ahwoi, another leading member of the party.
According to Joy News on Friday, Alhaji Sinare rescinded his decision after extensive consultation with the party’s flag-bearer, Prof. John Evans Atta Mills.
On Monday evening when the surprise news broke out, Alhaji Sinare told Joy News he was not ready to join any political party; but was firm the NDC will win the 2008 elections.
Immediately after his resignation, the leadership of the party and other groups affiliated to the NDC prevailed on him to give his decision a second thought.
