There was good news in the Black Stars camp on Friday as Spartak Moscow striker, Abdul Majeed Waris returned to training.
The former Hacken player suffered an injury scare last Monday after limping off in the early minutes of the game between Ghana and South Korea in Miami.
Waris’ participation in the World Cup was in doubt after the injury, but his quick return to training will be a major boost to the technical handlers.
The Right to Dream Academy product scored nine goals in sixteen appearances for Valenciennes where he spent the last half of the 2013/2014 season on loan.
It is still unclear whether his current fitness level will pass him to play for the Black Stars on Monday against USA.
