The porcupine Warriors Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday has a date with destiny when they clash with Al ittihad of Libya in the second leg of the final qualifier in the CAF Confederations Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Kotoko would have to overturn a 2-1 deficit they suffered in the hands of the Libyans some two weeks ago.
Ahead of the all important encounter, the porcupine warriors have huge problems to grable with.
Nana Arhin Duah according to a Joy FM report, tended in his resignation from the club.
Dan Aqcuah could also miss out due to injury. With Harrison Afful and Emmanuel Osei Kufuor already out due to suspension, the porcupine warriors enter into the game a depleted side.
However, striker Eric Bekoe is upbeat about the chances of the porcupine warriors.
In an interview with Joy Sports Bekoe said the team will at all cost make it to the group stages of the competition, adding that the porcupine warriors will make its fans and the whole of Ghana proud.
The team on Wednesday, beat Kaaseman Stars a division 1 side by 4-2 in one of two friendly matches to prepare the porcupine warriors for Sunday’s encounter. The other is against Feyeernord Academy the same day.
