After his surprise exit as coach of the Black Stars in May, French man Claude Le Roy has signed a 2 year contract with the Oman National Team, the country’s News Agency reports.
Le Roy takes over from Uruguay Manager Hulio Cesar after the oil rich country was eliminated in the final round of qualifiers for the World Cup.
The details of the contract was however not disclosed
The 60 year old trainer could only manage a third place finish in the just ended Nations Cup held in Ghana, but is optimistic of making an impact in the gulf region.
Claude Le Roy has had much of his coaching career in Africa after exploits with Cameroon, Senegal and DR Congo and his set to relaunch a new career in the gulf region.
