Wizard crash lands on roof of native doctor

A man believed to be in his early thirties on June 28 this year ‘crash-landed’ at 2.35 am on the building of a top native doctor, who is in charge of Ntoboase Herbal Center in Akaburiso, a farming community in the Obuasi Municipality. Samuel Nkoom said he was travelling to a place instructed by his masters on that fateful dawn, but felt tired along the way and therefore decided to take a rest on top of the building. The alleged wizard maintained strongly that his mission on top of the building that dawn was not to spiritually challenge the native doctor. The native doctor, Kofi Darkwah noted that he heard a loud bang on the roof of his building at that unholy hour and therefore decided to come out and see what was going on. He said when he came out, he saw a big dog on his roof, and feeling naturally alarmed, he went inside his room and took a gun to shoot the animal. According to the native doctor, immediately he shot at the dog, he heard the voice of a man saying: “Oh, please don’t kill me; I’m a human being. I don’t mean any harm; I’m just passing by”. Dr Darkwah explained that as soon as the dog fell to the ground, it turned into a young man believed to be in his early thirties. He said the alleged wizard started swelling and blood oozing from all over his body moments after he had dropped on the ground. The native doctor disclosed that the man pleaded for forgiveness, indicating that he meant no harm and that he was travelling to a designated place. He noted that Nkoom refused to mention where he was travelling from and where he was going, but stated that he was a native of the town and that his family could be contacted. Dr Darkwah stressed that when the family of Nkoom reported at his place, the crash-landed wizard instructed them to pay him (Dr Darkwah) compensation so that he could gain his freedom. He revealed that Nkoom’s family immediately paid GH¢70 as compensation, and promised to add GH¢500 should Nkoom show signs of recovery. The native doctor mentioned that Nkoom directed him to go to the bush for a herbal plant which he would to use to cure him. According to him, although he did all he was instructed to do, Nkoom was yet to recover from his failing health. Source: Daily Guide
