A wild fire on Saturday afternoon gutted into the ware house of Milicom Ghana Ltd operators of Tigo, at their Spintex site in Accra.
The fire was believed to have destroyed equipments running into several thousands of cedis.
Speaking to Joy News, Christian Nartey, an official of the company, said the equipments were to be used to expand the network coverage and operations of the company.
An official from the Ghana fire Service who was on hand to prevent further damage from the raging fire, said they had to replenish their water stock twice before they could bring the situation under control.
Even though the cause of the fire was not immediately known, it is believed that an electrical fault might have sparked off the fire.
