Ghana lost 3-0 to host nation Sierra Leone on Saturday in the opening game of the first ever Amputee football tournament.
Some 10,000 spectators watched the Ghana'-Sierra Leone game. Nigeria, Angola and Liberia are the other teams taking part in the All-African Amputee Football Championship.
The winner of the soccer competition will qualify for the Amputee World Football Championship in Turkey later this year.
Each of the teams has six outfield players missing a leg with a one-armed goalkeeper in the tournament.
