Major Courage Quashigah (RTD), Minister of Health, has left for Tehran, Iran, at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart in the spirit of the Ghana/Iran cooperation.
Major Quashigah said during his visit he would understudy the medical system of Iran as well as its health facilities.
The Health Minister recalled the long standing cooperation between the two countries in the health sector, noting that in the past Iran had donated 41 ambulances to Ghana and had also built a clinic in Accra.
Major Quashigah would also visit pharmaceutical institutions, health training institutions and look at traditional health institutions in that country.
