Comcast, an American advertising agency, has produced what appears to be the first major advertisement on marijuana worldwide for MarijuanaDoctors.com.
The commercial has appeared on Fox, CNN, ESPN, Comedy Central, AMC, and Discovery, among a number of other networks throughout New Jersey and Chicago.
Use of medical marijuana has been made legal in a number of states in America, but advertisers still haven't been comfortable running ads on it.
As with certain alcohol advertisements, however, Comcast has limited the ad’s airing time from 10pm to 5am, while excluding it from running alongside any family content.
Meanwhile, the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) has described changes to cannabis laws in Uruguay and the United States as a “very grave danger to public health.”
