The programmes Head for Child rights of the Department of Social Welfare (DSW) in Ho, Mr Peter Hlovor, has decried the indecent mode of celebrations when the Senior National team, the Black Stars chalked up successes at the Ghana 2008 tournament.
He described as worrying the parading of young people on the streets, particularly girls almost nude under the guise of jubilating, and placed the blame at the doorsteps of parents.
Mr Hlovor therefore, called on parent to without delay take measures to ensure that their children conducted themselves well during the period.
"We must not allow young children to hang around drinking spots or stay late into the night under the cover of jubilation", he stressed.
He noted that while guaranteeing the right of children to celebrate, parents ought to realize that the social implications of unbridled celebration were grave hence the need to exert social controls on their children.
