As part of Joy News’ #ArriveAlive campaign, aimed at tackling the rate of road accidents in the country, host of Joy News’ AM Show, Roland Walker interacted with some drivers and passengers at the VIP station to discuss how road accidents can be reduced.
Bala Yussif, a driver at the station, attributed the rise of accidents to the bad state of roads in the country and called for actions to be taken to fix them.
A passenger, Theresa, on the other hand, said some accidents are due to careless driving adding that drivers must be prompted when they are over speeding and not adhering to road regulations.
