The Ghana office of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising a trade mission to the world’s biggest health fair where technology, finance and new trends in delivery health is put on one stage for the Arab Health fair.
At this event patrons will have the largest collection of healthcare product manufacturers and service providers under one roof, giving them a one-stop-shop for all their healthcare sourcing and procurement needs, with thousands of products to explore from more than 66 countries.
The 2020 Arab Health Exhibition will take place in Dubai from the January 26 to 30 this year.
Accompanying the fair is a number of business, leadership and Continuing Medical Education (CME) conferences and workshops providing the very latest updates and insights into cutting edge procedures, techniques and skills.
The event will also offer patrons the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge through these immersive educational tracks and also find the right business partner or funds to expand their facility in Ghana or partnerships to help send patients overseas for treatments as the local representative here in Ghana.
Having recently organised the just ended Global Business Forum for Africa in Dubai which saw participants from Ghana securing deals – with one honey producing company securing a $10million deal to supply honey to a Dubai based company over a 5-year period – the Chief Representative of Dubai Chamber’s Ghana office Mr Cyril Kofi Darkwa noted that, “the Arab Health event affords local companies, hospitals and individuals the rare opportunity to meet, network and form viable business connections in the areas of Healthcare Infrastructure, Imaging and Diagnostics, Healthcare Investment and Financing, Healthcare IT, Medical disposables and consumables, Medical equipment and Devices, Healthcare and General Services to Preventive and Post Diagnostic treatment, world-class companies will be showcasing products and services in these sectors.”
According to Mr Darkwa, local companies and individuals will get the chance to discuss the possibility of locally representing some of these huge medical companies with a view to bringing world-class medical care to Ghana.
“Dubai Chamber will also organize some site visits to some world-class hospitals in Dubai as well as the facility of a medical manufacturing company. This will give delegates a first-hand experience of how technology and innovation can be brought to the delivery of healthcare,” he added.
This trade mission is being organised in collaboration with a local travel company Abton Crafters, a company with experience with travel packages to Dubai.
For 45 years Arab Health has brought to delegates the latest innovations in healthcare. From state-of-the-art imaging equipment to the most cost-effective disposables; developments in surgery to advances in prosthetics, Arab Health continues to be at the heart of healthcare in the Middle East.
Companies and individuals interested in being a part of this all-important trade mission can contact Dubai Chamber on 0242849055 or Abton Crafters on 0246039373.
