The Gomoa East constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will hold its delegates congress on Thursday to select a parliamentary candidate to contest the December general election.
Mr Kojo Ekwam 50, an accountant, Mr Kofi Adzra, 40, a businessman and Mr Ekow Panyin Okyere 35, an educationist will contest the primaries.
Mr Essel Kojo Peter, Chairman of the constituency branch of the NDC, told the GNA in an interview on Tuesday that preparations had been made to ensure the success of the congress.
He said the people of Gomoa East were eager to vote massively for NDC due to failure of the government to provide certain basic infrastructure in the area.
Mr Essel appealed to the supporters of the party to continue to campaign to win more supporters for the party.
