The Tufohene of Bomoakpole in the Nzema East District of the Western Region, Nana Ahunlu Ackah has advised the youth in the area to desist from taking hard drugs and rather concentrate on their education so as to become useful future leaders.
He also urged them not to allow themselves to be use by politicians and other disgruntled persons to achieve their aims and objective by inciting them to cause trouble in their areas.
The Tufohene gave the advice at a forum organised by the chief and people of Bomoakpole to discuss the development of the town and how to promote education.
He expressed concern about the way some youth in the town had taken to Indian hemp smoking and warned those involved to desist from the act because a committee had been put place to arrest offenders.
The urged parents to advise their children against that act because he would not entertained anybody who came pleading for the release of culprits. He said he would hand over such people to the Police for prosecution.
