In a phone conversation, Sadat commended Vodafone for the valuable health education it is giving through its multiple award-winning programme.

He implored the telco to continue with the wonderful initiative.

Commenting on the initiative, Andre Tayo Junior, Head of Brands at Vodafone Ghana said, “We are excited about the impact Vodafone Healthline is making across the country.”

He said they introduced the “life-changing programme as part of a commitment to show the world how a purpose-led company should conduct itself.”

Mr Tayo Junior said, Vodafone believes that “by creating awareness about various diseases, disapproving the many myths surrounding health, and offering life-saving surgeries, Ghanaians can live healthy and better lives.’’

Millions of viewers like Sadat have become enthusiasts of the programme, which is redefining television content in the country with its emotionally-gripping medical stories and health information.

Vodafone Healthline shows on UTV on Mondays at 9 pm; TV3 on Sundays at 3 pm; Adom TV on Saturdays at 8:30 pm and on Family TV on Sundays at 8 pm.
