The Marketing Manager for leading food manufacturing company Promasidor Ghana (PGH), Shine Akiem Torsoo has been awarded as part of top 20 marketing communication professionals in West Africa.
Shine Akiem Torsoo was among the host of awardees at recent Marketing World Awards which was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
Under his leadership as marketing manager, brands under PGH (i.e Cowbell Onga, Miksi & Yumvita) executed several novel marketing initiatives in growing the equity of the brands.
Some of these major initiatives include Guinness world record-breaking event of the Onga Longest Feast table, Cowbell hot air balloon project dubbed Cowbell In The Sky, Onga Jollof Battle, Yumvita Kiddie Games and many others.
Mr Torsoo's long outstanding performance in the area of marketing includes his work experience as marketing manager at De United Food Industries, Mebani Holdings Ghana limited, Forewin Ghana limited and PZ Cussons.
Other individual award winners included Noel Kojo Ganson, Chief Marketing Officer MTN Ghana; Nana Adu Kyeremanteng, Head of Corporate Communications at Jospong Group of Companies.
Awards were also presented to several other brands for their novel marketing engagements and activities for the year 2019.
The Marketing World Awards in an annual event by Instinct Wave to honour marketing expert and brands for their contributions each year.
