Former RuffTown Records signee Miss Forson has clarified that CEO of the label never asked her to divorce her husband.
According to her, she was only advised by Bullet on how not to have her marriage come between her music career.
Her clarification follows recent tensions that rose between Miss Forson and Bullet where the former alleged that the RuffTown Records CEO was the reason why she divorced her husband.
Miss Forson, during a phone-in interview on Adom FM’s Adom Entertainment Hall on Saturday, narrated what transpired between her and her former record label manager.
“I met Bullet a few months before I got married. He advised me not to lose focus on my talent and my career and I must make sure my marital life never come in between.
“I took his advice into consideration because I knew it was going to benefit me in the long run so I had to end my marriage so I could focus on my music,” she narrated.
When asked how long the marriage lasted before the break-up and whether or not she regretted the decision, she explained that she never regretted because the marriage had just reached its fourth month.
She revealed that her family was initially not happy with her decision to end her marriage but they agreed with her after persuading them.
She stressed that Bullet never asked her to end her marriage so she could be with him.
“Bullet never asked me to settle with him after our break up neither did he ever instigate my break up, he only advised me.”
The CEO of RuffTown Records, in a statement, asked Ms Forson to retract and apologise for false statements she made against him in a recent interview.
