Twenty customers of Fidelity Bank have been rewarded in the Global Visa 2019 Summer campaign.
The promotion, which spanned a three-month period, rewarded top transacting customers who spent ¢500 and above monthly to purchase items and perform other transactions with their Visa card.
The prizes included flat-screen television sets, microwave ovens, fridges, and many more.
The Director of Transactional Banking at Fidelity Bank, Gladys Thompson, speaking at the presentation ceremony at the Bank’s Tesano Branch, said, “Fidelity Visa debit card can be used for online transactions and anywhere that Visa is accepted.
Essentially, the debit card is a fantastic cash replacement for most transactions; cards give you spending power without the inconvenience of carrying cash.
It is our hope that today’s event will spur most of our current and future customers to adopt the usage of Fidelity Visa Cards for their transactions wherever they are.”
Gladys Thompson added that Fidelity Bank believes in the power of partnership, hence working together with Visa to better the lives of its customers.
Speaking on the campaign, Country Manager, Visa Ghana, Adoma Peprah, said, “When it comes to making payment transactions, Ghanaians are continuously looking for the most convenient and secure ways to pay for products and also use several payment platforms when they travel to other parts of the world.
“What we have done with this partnership with Fidelity Bank is to reward our loyal customers and provide more value to them when they pay with Visa.
“We are very proud of the success of this campaign and remain committed to working with Fidelity Bank on other promotions that will bring cardholders innovative ways to pay while helping them earn rewards.”
Sharing her experiences on the Fidelity Visa Cards, Harriet Owusu Boadi, a businessperson, indicated that she finds her Visa card convenient and a cost-effective payment method for her business transactions.
According to her, emerging as the winner in the Fidelity Visa card promo has validated the Fidelity and Visa promotion.
“My win here today is a demonstration to the general public that the Fidelity Visa card promo is real. The win has influenced my mother’s decision to switch bank to be part of the Fidelity Bank family”.
Fidelity Bank and Visa will continue together to come up with promos that will reward customers whilst they embark on their cashless journey.
