The Reverend Toris Amo Kyeremeh, in-charge of New Heavens Revival Ministry in Techiman, has urged the youth to allow Jesus Christ to take control of their lives so they would grow to fear God and develop good morals.
Rev. Kyeremeh gave the advice when he addressed participants at a get-together organized by the Odikro of Atabooso, Nana Joseph Ackesson, in Techiman.
He expressed regret about the questionable attitudes and behaviour of some of the youth who refused to respect authority and advised them to eschew all anti-social acts.
“Satan is always at war against people who would offer themselves to God and thus shun evil deeds, hence there is the need for the youth to lead morally upright lives to command respect from the people”, he stressed.
Mr. Yaw Amponsah, a businessman, advised the youth to take their education seriously to enable them to acquire gainful employment to enhance their living standards.
Mr. Amponsah, Managing Director of Amponsah Adamu Sawmill at Tanoboase cautioned the youth against pre-marital and illicit sex to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS.
He called on the youth and supporters of the various political parties to be disciplined during the electioneering campaign to avoid creating unnecessary confusion in the communities.
