Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Joseph Yamin is confident the Local Black Stars can lift this year’s CHAN tournament in South Africa.
Much is expected from Coach Maxwell Konadu and his team in their second Group C encounter against Libya on Friday.
Ghana who are making a third appearance at the tournament began their campaign at this year’s tournament with a 1-0 win over Congo on Monday
.
Deputy Sports Minister Joseph Yamin who is in South Africa with the team in an exclusive interview with Joy sports noted he is optimistic about their chances of winning the tournament
“My hope, believe and I have confidence in the boys to deliver and for the first time we will lift up the cup,” said Yamin
“The players moral is high and their activeness is good and the quest to win something this time is also high so I have no doubt that we will win the tournament.
“I have believe and the hope in the boys with a little psyche and letting them know that they are as good as the other teams, they can do better.”
