Ghana champions Asante Kotoko and fierce rivals Hearts of Oak are set to clash in a friendly later this month, Asempa Sports can reveal.
The first leg of the two-leg friendly is expected to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on 31st January and the return leg three days later at the Accra sports stadium.
Hearts of Oak are preparing towards the start of the second round of the Ghana premier league whilst Asante Kotoko prepare for the league and the CAF champions League.
With the league currenly on break as a result of the CHAN tournament, the two most glamorous clubs will use the friendly to sharpen their arsenals.
Seidu Bancey's thunderbolt secured a vital win for Kotoko as the Porcupin Warriors defeated Hearts 1-0 in the second week fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
