The 30 days weight loss challenge initiative by the Cosmopolitan Mix team is coming to an end.
The team is taking its last workout session to the El Wak sports stadium on September 7 starting 6 am.
The team had its first workout session at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
This was two weeks of coaching on diets, exercises, the dos and don’ts of healthy weight loss and its benefits.
The participants were taken through a series of exercises by the coaches Clinical Biochemist, Ada Enwere and Certified Wellness Consultant, Clifford Ladzekpo.
The second session which also took place at the Labadi Beach Hotel saw participants engage in more vigorous exercises. They were trained by Ascent Ghana, a fitness team which organises the only 5km-long obstacle course race in the country.
To keep participants focused on their training to help effect some of the lifestyle changes, the team joined a host of celebrities including Yvonne Nelson, British High Commissioner and others on the Walk With Lexis.
The annual health awareness program saw the team walk from the Ayi Mensah Police Station up the Aburi Mountain.
For its final session, the 30 days weight loss challengers would be given exercises and task to complete according to a grouping system that would be decided by the coaches.
Although it is the last training session together, many of the participants training and eating healthy has become a lifestyle they would continue to do.
Join the team of participants at 6 am at the El Wak sports stadium, this Saturday.
