Managing Director of Multi TV, Santokh Singh, was the recipient of the Special Recognition Award at the 2019 edition of the Ghana Event Awards.
The prestigious award is recognition of his dedication to media development in the country over the years, especially in the digital space.
Santokh distinguished himself amongst his peers and rose to become one of the most celebrated personalities in the entertainment industry; hence the honour.
Other personalities who were awarded included musician, Kwami Eugene, DJ Vyrusky, Uncle Ebo, KOD, Berla Mundi and many others.
Held at Silverstar Towers, Friday, August 30, the event was aimed at recognising, honouring and celebrating indigenous Ghanaian event organisers who set the pace for excellence in event management across the country.
The award scheme also seeks to celebrate organisations as well as individuals making a difference by creating and successfully executing events that meet international standards and have the ability to become a point of reference for others.
