The Parliamentary candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress in Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu, says the country will witness a better education system if John Mahama is elected President in 2020.
According to him, basic education will see better improvement and management in the areas of both infrastructure and teacher motivation and Madina will not be left out.
The renowned Human Rights Lawyer made the claim at the climax of one-month vacation classes organised by the "Baba Sariki Foundation" for pupils of No.1 Cluster of Schools in the La Nkwantanang Municipality of Accra.
Lawyer Sosu who was a guest speaker said, as a candidate for the NDC in Madina, he was committed to partnering the authorities of the school and the Foundation, to expand access to such social interventions.
Mr. Sosu later interacted with some of the children who benefited from the vacation classes.
Sosu encouraged the children to be disciplined and hardworking if they want to chalk higher heights and serve their nation well.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly, Jennifer Dede Afagbedzi through her Coordinating Director, donated GH₵5,000 to the Baba Sariki Foundation.
The Member of Parliament for the Madina Constituency, Boniface Abubakar Sadick on his part, pledged continued support for the Foundation.
